Something that’s always had me miffed: guy tees, inexplicably, pull off the cooler-than-thou vibe without trying. Granted, graphic shirts for girls are getting their shit together now too.. since, typically, that market would consist of “LOVE & PEACE” exclamations (when did Green become so trendy?), emblems of classic rock bands that most girls may or may not actually listen to, throwbacks to childhood nostalgia (sesame street, my little pony, etc etc), or some kind of graphic involving the despised shutter shades (this has passed, fortunately).
It’s also worth noting that Forever 21 has a category for some of the aforementioned shirts, the “Licensed Tees”; a breeding ground festering with Snoopy and the Rolling Stones. I guess it’s only up from there.
All the tees in the spread either come from Nixon or F21.
